You can't be a revolutionary without sticking it to the man once in a while, so after Tom's Pokemon were rested and recovered, he headed to the top floor of the UC to listen to some Dykell rep. talk about the Payton Randolph House. Tom had no idea what the house was, nor did he particularly care, but if big business wanted to screw with it, they were going to have to go through him first. When he reached the room, he saw the requisite number of suits around a podium with a microphone. There were a couple of security people. The room was filled with students, members of the press, and random townies. Up by the podium, there was a familiar face... The mysterious man who had been in the cave at Root's PokeSafari looked right at Ethan, and smiled in a self-assured fashion. However, he did nothing to alert anyone to Tom's presence.

Gotta figure out some way to get their attention. Tom thought. He couldn't shout over the representative, so he needed something else. He thought of the obvious.
Tom sent out his Magby. "Alright, I need a flame. A big one." He said. Magby complied, shooting out a large inferno into the air as Tom lit a cigarette on it.
It got their attention.
"Pop quiz, kids." He yelled. "What crap has this guy been feeding you? Has he told you about the Dykell Corporation's partnership with Team Rocket? Or has that lesson been conviently left behind?"

The man speaking at the podium, who had been saying something about putting a reasonable explanation to bizarre happenings at the Payton Randolph house, looks a little pale.
"There are no such connections!" he snaps.
The mysterious man nods. He looks slightly amused, and continues to say and do nothing. The security personnel look to the mysterious man who had been at the cave, looking for some cue from him. They get nothing.
You've definitely piqued the interest of the audience.

Tom grinned. This guy could obviously not handle someone like him.
"It's interesting you should say that, especially when your were sales were highest the same year Boss Giovanni got out of jail and rebuilt Team Rocket, providing his 'employees' with new technology your company helped produce."

Color returned to the speaker's face. "That is not true. The materials in question were stolen from our competitor ComCorp. The police have been working on that aspect of the case for over a year."
The mysterious man frowns a little, and looks rather bored. He stifles a yawn, and you almost swear that you hear him say under the yawn, "Go older."
The audience seems somewhat placated by this answer. Security seems more at ease.

"Ah yes," Tom said. "How could we forget the tyrannical reign of Harrison Dykell? Who here remmebers that scandal? Who here remembers his trial and subsequent imprisonment?"
No one in the audience responded. They were all too young to remember.
"Well, it's doubtless his sister Angela has only made things worse."

"Angela spent far more time with her father than her brother!" sputters the speaker, barely coherent. "We've had enough of you! Guards!" The crappy rent-a-cops start moving towards Tom Hannibal. Apparently, Harrison Dykell is a touchy subject. But Tom definitely got a reaction out of the crowd. The college students don't want the relatives of any criminal corporate sleazebag touching ANY part of local legend. They manage to distract the majority of the crappy rent-a-security guys. Why the Dykell speaker didn't get any of the college police or the Williamsburg Police Department is beyond me. Tom has enough time to look back over at the man who had been at the cave with Angela Dykell. He was staring at Tom intently. The subject of Harrison Dykell seems to have piqued his interest significantly. Tom didn't have time to wonder about the significance of the criminal tendencies of the Black Sheep of the Dykell Dynasty, as four of the rent-a-sec guys broke from the crowd and closed on him. Fortunately for him, something came to even the odds slightly. A Lickitung ran through the chaos, with Ethan Mackenzie hot on its heels, shouting, "THAT COST ME $6.99, YOU BASTARD! GIVE ME BACK MY SANDWICH!" In the process of chasing down the Lickitung, he somehow managed to tackle two of the rent-a-sec guys. Suddenly, attacking Tom Hannibal seemed a lot less important to them. They ran after Ethan and the Lickitung out of the room. That still leaves two rent-a-cops. Trainer battle of no particular format. Go wild.
