"Or we could try talking to them." Tom suggested. "After all, they do seem capable of human interaction."

"If we want to talk to them, we might wanna get a move on."
So, our heroes catch up with the girl and the guy in Colonial Williamsburg, roughly in front of the Barnes and Noble along the cobblestone path.
"Hey, howzitgaun?" Ethan asks them, being unable to think of anything else to say.
The fact that they weren't entirely put off by a strange, dirty, inarticulate man coming out of nowhere and greeting them along a street at midnight says something about their character. What it says precisely, I cannot be certain. In any case, the girl greets our heroes warmly.
"Hi! I'm Emily and this is Alex. Are you guys going ghost hunting too?"
"Pardon?" replies Ethan. He neither knew what they were talking about, nor did he particularly care to. In his experience of travelling the world, Ghosts were far more trouble than they were worth.
"I'm sure you've heard about all the haunted houses here," responds Alex. "The Dykell Corporation is actually going to try to investigate the main one, the Payton Randolph. We're going on one last excursion to the house before they ruin the mystery."

Dykell? Tom thought. Could they be searching for Harrison?
"I'll join." He said shortly.

Ghosts. I never liked Ghosts. As an intangible pokemon, they can be extremely difficult to breed, nearly impossible. And since I loved Psychic pokemon, ghosts always caused me lots of grief. Still, if it had to do with Dykell, we needed to investigate.
"Let's go guys," I sheepishly said.

Hitting the pause button at the moment, to let Brian finish the last battle in his sidequest.

(ok, this is takin way too long. It has been 6 days since any real gameplay has been done. Anyone else think we should move on without him, and he can catch up later?)

The way the campaign is designed, there's not gonna be a chance for him to catch up. He posted on his subquest yesterday. If it starts to take too long, then yeah, we'll move without him.

While I understand that school can keep one busy, if one cannot post on a game regularly, especially when one is already antagonistic at best to the other players, one should not play.
And since neither my time nor my patience are infinite, nor are the collective time and patience of my fellows infinite, we're moving on. If Brian does not finish his quest by the time we get to some battling in this thread, his character is cosidered to have gone off to do something on his own and is out of the game. Any and all posts by Brian beyond that point will most likely be ignored.
So, Ethan and the others went along with the nearly inhumanly cheerful Emily and Alex into Colonial Williamsburg. They soon found themselves in front of a blood red house.
"We're here!" whispered Emily excitedly.
Ethan regarded the house for many moments. Sure, it looked creepy, but it was dark out. For some strange reason, he decided that the only way to judge the true fright factor of the house was to poke it.
Ethan touches the house.
It feels very houselike.
"Whoa," said Alex. "The door's open. Never seen that before..."

"Well, let's go in!"
"Anyone else coming?" Pierre said as he headed for the door.

"Oh great, ghosts..." Terrance muttered.
Under the sarcasm, there was a tad bit of fear.

Tom lit another cigarette, silently looking at the haunted house.
"Shall we?" He asked the group as he gestured towards the open door.

(Since I'm assuming ABF's either asleep or will be soon...)
Our heroes follow the two college students into the hematochromed house.
The front hall is dominated by a dusty staircase. No one has been in here in a while. There are a few tables around the staircase. There are two doorways going off the top of the staircase, and two going off the bottom, making the stairs look like the core of a capital letter 'I.'
As our heroes dutifully poke around Tom Hannibal finds something that looks familiar. It's another page, similar to the damaged one found back in the cave in Russia. It has different handwriting on it from the one found in Russia, but it's the same type of paper. The very bottom of it is damaged.
Williamsburg 0994-2188
Upon further research of the Payton Randolph house, I have discovered that the dimensional barriers have been weakened in this general area. It is my belief that the weakening of the dimensional barriers is a deliberate attack on our plane of existence, and that therefore the threat my mentor has seen in his visions and explorations is an extraplanar one, rather than a simple extraterrestrial one. Harrison disagrees with me, and continues to look for evidence of extraterrestrial tampering. Our mentor seems more inclined to believe Harrison for some reason. In any case, I found it to be prudent to dismantle local portal, in order to slow the degradation of the fabric of space-time.
The La... 93...
Attached to the piece of paper, Tom Hannibal finds a Spell Tag.
