Okay, so as the Ghost fades from our plane of existence, it whispers, "Your time is already over. You cannot fight what began before your species existed."
Emily wakes up, no longer possessed. She runs over and hugs Alex. The two of them leave. JK is nowhere to be found, but there is a bag with a crudely written note that says:
"Hey guys, thanks for helping to save my friends. Here are some miscellaneous shiny things I've picked up in the course of my journies. Have fun doing whatever. JKL"
Looking around the room, our heroes find a stack of papers on a table, next to the active portal. Most of what's written seems fairly incomprehensible to them, but there is another journal page:
"I've looked over Leif's findings about the Payton Randolph House. While it's true that the dimensional barriers have been weakened at this point, he fails to realize one important detail:
Someone from this side has weakened them. And if the threats to this planet can already travel here, why would they need to weaken the barriers?
I've set up a one-way emergency portal to see where it goes. I'm taking Harrison with me through the gateway tomorrow. I'm sending Leif back to the ship offshore to continue looking for holes between dimensions."
Our heroes quickly divide up, some of them electing to go through the portal, some of them deciding to investigate this mysterious ship offshore of Virginia Beach. What are these threats that Leif and the Journal pages keep alluding to? How does Harrison Dykell and the Dykell Corporation fit into this mystery?

Alright, there's going to be some turbo stat editting when the opportunity arises, probably a second stat page started by Conch for those of us going on the "Answers in the Portals" branch, and two exciting new chapters coming up, as we delve deeper into the mysteries of the world of Pokemon: Armageddon!
