"Yay, Porgyon gained a level!"
The other trainers looked at Jeff as though he was crazy.
"God, get with it! When Porygon gets enough experience in battle, the system automatically makes him stronger, or raises him a 'level'."
Noone said anything, and several people pursed their lips.

Brian sneaks into the cave, unnoticed by the recently victorious heroes. He travels down for a long time. Although he doesn't encounter any wild Pokemon in the recently dug tunnel, he can't help but feel a presence of some sort in the cave. All of the sudden, he hears a voice from ahead of him. "HEY YOU! What are you doing down here?" Digger wants to fight! Geodude LV 5 HP 8 SP 3 Rock/Ground Types Tackle-Deals two damage to target Defense Curl-Takes one less damage.

(JK will do the rolling. Also, Rock has a weakness to ground, so your attack is modified x1.5)
Mudkip (7/7) Geodude (6.5/8)

Actually, it's multiplied by two Same type would be x1.5 damage, but I work that into the natural damage of the attack. At least, that's what I say I do... Geodude uses tackle. 1 rolled on Mud Slap. Attack misses. Mudkip (7/7) Geodude (6/8)

Geodude takes 2 again. Geodude tries to tackle. Rolled a 6, so it hits.
Mudkip 5/7 Geodude 4/8

I know. Otherwise I'd have made Mudslap do at least 2 damage normally.
Geodude attempts to tackle. Roll 2. MISS!
Mudkip 5/7 Geodude 2/8 Digger: Minimally demoralized.

www.hcrealms.com is the site. Let's see...you gain 20 Exp 20 till next level. The digger runs off, and in the time it took you to have that battle, everyone else has caught up.

"Who are you again?" said Jeff.
This is bad, thought Jeff, the more people we have in this "band", the harder it will be to beat them all and ditch them when the time is right.
