Figured I might as well get this started. Conch and Brian, feel free to hop in.
So, obligatory recap:
The journey began when Jarad RezVei and several other trainers witnessed what appeared to be a mob attack on a town in Russia. They spent the night together at a hotel, where ReZvei witnessed what appeared to be some sort of mob deal. The group of trainers were attacked by a Gallade, which they successfully held off. While ReZVei and several others are headed to Rensa Fields to take on the local Pokemon League Challenge, a group led by Tom Hannibal struck out on their own. At the moment, they are only bound together by convenience, but that's ALLLLLL about to change...
CHAPTER 1: Welcome to the Machine
Before they set out to parts unknown, Tom, Ethan, Pierre, and Jeff decided to get a bite to eat. They stopped at a convenient cheap dining establishment.
Their lunch was interrupted when a middle age man, slightly overweight with a grey bushy moustache came in. He immediately spotted our heroes. He ran up to them.
"Excellent, trainers," said the middle aged man, out of breath. "I need your help. I work at a local Safari Zone, owned by a Mr. Root. While Mr. Root is away taking care of other business ventures, I manage the park. Anyway, these guys from a big American Company, Dykell Inc. have started digging up the park. They don't have permission to do this, and I don't know why they're doing this. When I told them to leave, they had thugs with Pokemon attack me. They're damaging the park and scaring away a lot of the rarer Pokemon. Can you help me get rid of them? Or at least find out what they're doing? I'll find some way to reward you, I swear!"
Ethan took a sip of his cranberry juice. "We've got time before the KISS Concert over in Rensa Fields. I guess we can. Whaddaya think, Tom?"
