I was condiering a PM to the mods with this text: First off, I want to let you know that I am not angry that my goodbye thread got removed. If thats the rules then Im okay with it. I wanted to say goodbye to my friends here, and I had no idea that it was against the rules. Im sorry. Secondly, I would like to ask you guys to consider changing the rules for those who come after me. I think it is really a disservice to those who post here a lot not to be able to say goodbye if they leave. I think if it is done civilly and respectfully, I see no harm. Obviously they should have the same rules as other threads - if it gets heated, then get rid of it. So, I am asking that and only that as a person who has been here for four years. Its up to you guys to make the decision, and I wont mind either way. Thanks for being great guys/gals around the boards - most of the time its nice to know you are there  Adam But I decided against it. I think ill drop it and move on instead.
All the Mods would post your PM in the Private Mods' War Room and then make fun of you for days on end. They'd say what a loser you are that you think you know what is good for HCRealms and don't have a clue.
I won't even get into the insulting PM azs would send back to you. Filled with his usual cockiness and insultingness.
It's a shame. I've known Aaron since 2003 and he really has changed since getting all this power in being Admin. Sadly, I'm not the first of his friends to see the change. A number of people that know him closely have approached me in the past and asked me if I noticed the change.
But, the only difference between them and me is that I had the stones to call Aaron on his behavior change instead of just acting like a lemming and blindly following the pack off a cliff.
Obviously, power corrupts. And, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Anyone else notice how much KitsuShel has changed since becoming a Mod? She is towing the line like an obedient, blind, servant. It's pretty pathetic really. One would think someone like her couldn't be corrupted, but that has been proved wrong now. |

Some people, like Jacin and Bud, are entertaining, but in all honesty, they violate the rules of the site a lot without repercussion.
Now, if those two started speaking against either HCR or WK then I can guarantee they would be getting WPs and/or Banned. Like me.
Look what happened to hair10 as a prime example of speaking out against the system.
WK doesn't want anyone to know the real reason why hair10 was fired as the Rules Arbitrator, but knowing 3-5 people in the WK organization lets me be privy to certain closed-door decisions. Such as why hair10 was removed as the RA.
And, let me add, that it had nothing to do with Karl selling Prize Support. Which he did not do. |
