Glad you told that... I doubt that I would have went to go see it in theaters but I probably would have rented it when it came out on DVD...

You know I finally got to see Scott Pilgram vs The World. I rated it higher then Lord of the Rings movie. 5.5 out of 10. I am glad I didn't waste my money to go and see it. It wasn't Towong Fu or Watchmen Horrible but it was far from good.

I'm just saying, the only people I know who didn't like Scott Pilgrim are lame. What didn't you like about it? Pretty much it everything was just over the top. I knew it would be but it was WAY WAY to much. It was to much like.....Shaen of the Dead and other movies like that. I asked around my friends and no one said they liked it. Only people that liked it were people online.

It's a big movie with it's own sort of world and makes no explanations or apologies for it, and if that's not your thing than that's cool. FYI, Pilgrim and Sean of the Dead were directed by the same guy. His name is Edgar Wright and he's kind of my hero. He's at least my favorite British person.

I just thought they seemed kinda over the top similar..... Like naked gun type of movie.

I was gonna say "He did!"
But then I read the rest. See I am not in that over the top acting like that. I think we are just opposite (on likes) peoples. I consider Next Wave and Deadpool some of the worst comics out there. (I see your next wave signature line.)

Tell me, Manchine, when did you decide that you hated fun? Fun and stupidity are two different things. Fun is something like Big Bang Theory or playing Marvel vs Capcom 3. I think we already figured out what I considered stupid. ;D

I think we already figured out what I considered stupid. ;D Yes! Those were the words I was looking for! I always prefer when someone says "I think it's stupid" as opposed to "It's stupid". The former implies that the subject at least has some merit to it and it's understandable why someone else would enjoy it. The latter is a blanketed statement that writes off the subject as irredeemable and makes an indirect insult to someone who does enjoy it. At least that's just my opinion. Now let's put this nonsense behind us and talk about something better. Last weekend at Emerald City Comic Con I picked up the graphic novel Lost at Sea, the only other published work I could find from Bryan Lee O'Malley, writer/artist of the Scott Pilgrim series. It was actually a surprisingly deep introspective story. I really recommend it.
