Yeah, I saw the pilot at Comic Con. It did not endear itself to me. Then the panelists said one of the themes they'd be exploring was "Do you wear the cape, or does the cape wear you?", at which point I promptly lost all faith in the series and left to go get seats for the [as] panel.

That was a really good game. And the trailers for Super 8, Thor, and Transformers all looked really good. The Captain America trailer was amazing. Damn near needed a cigarette after it ended.

I actually got really excited for Super 8 and Cowboys and Aliens. I'm already psyched for Thor and Cap so it wasn't as big. I've already decided that i'm not going to feed the ungodly juggernaut that is the Transformers film franchise, so I didn't really care for that trailer. And, surprisingly, I'm really looking forward to Rango. Seriously, it looks like fun.

Went to go see Cedar Rapids last night. It sucked. Acts one and two are just shuffling about, waiting for John C. Reilly to be funny. By the third act, nobody cares anymore. Also, it had funny people and barely used them (Mike O'Malley, Rob Corddry, Thomas Lennon). So yeah, don't see it.
