The Wii Wheel is fantastic. I love this game so much. Me and friend of mine were tearing up online mode last Saturday. Does anyone else have it?

I don't have it, but I played it and it's SO much fun. I really want to get a Wii just for this game.

I don't have it, but I plan on getting it. I, on the other hand, am not much a fan of the Wii Wheel. It just seems to get in the way for me. The game kicks ass, though.

Hmmm... the Wii wheel makes it easier to hold the remote. I like it. And I am having a blast playing as Donkey Kong and his off-roader vehicle. I unlocked King Boo and a couple of the other circuits in the 50cc category (baby steps, I know...) Lovin' the Kart, wot wot hey wot!

I'm done with the 50cc circuit with at least a gold star rating on every stage. I even double starred Special Cup. I'm working 100cc now, and I'm about half-done with that.
I definitely like the Wii Wheel more than the Classic Controller. The Wiimote with the Nunchuk isn't bad, though. Honestly, the only compliant I have is that they put too much of an emphasis on the object. I just hate it when I get hit with two blue shells, a red shell, a POW block, and a lightning bolt all within five seconds that drops from first to ninth on the last lap.

Yeah, it's much easier to get totally raped in races. It makes multiplayer more fun, but makes single player less fun. It's a trade off, I suppose.

See, this is one of the main complaints I have against the Wii. It seems to focus more on multiplayer games...

Of course! That's their whole marketing campaign! When you make a system that anyone can pick up and play, you want to have multiplayers that don't favor those who have played the game longer (At least not a lot). They want raucous multiplayers, that allow anyone, from the veteran racer, to the n00b, to your little brother the ability to claim victory.
I think it's a tradeoff that's worth it, because all too often you have games like Halo where a new player is a total buttmonkey to the veteran players.
