why one character
why not two that act as one ala duo characters. single attacks, 6 pokes between them, the only difference is they speak as two different charaters

another point, to paraphrase south park goths: we need a girl in the rpg or people are going to think were a bunch of fags. (don't blame me south park said it)
to state the point more obviosly, wheres the token girl.

But if you want your character to be a girl go ahead. seeing as that was a south park JOKE, said by a GOTH, not me that is not a relevant point, i'm not calling anyone gay unless they want to be. and the idea of hust a standard charcter is just boring to me, that's why mine are always weird and different highlander sucks. there can be lot's of ones just look at binary code. and mel gibson had a tiny pony |

And if you want a weird character, make sure it's not a robot and there's only one of them. well what is there left to be different, say a living pokemon that talks, you'll say no. a `character that somehow absorbs pokemon rather than catching them, you'll say no. a canibal, you'll say no(as will i). a magician with powers over time, you'll say no. i'm just throughing out ideas, the two charater idea was the most down to earth of my ideas. |

We might be able to work with that. 2. If I'm interpreting your second idea correctly, that would be a bitch to work into gameplay. Someone who mimics the abilities of Pokemon is what you mean? 3. Actually, I sort of like the idea of an Intelligent pokemon.
Say that you were messing in an old machine when the owner wasn't around (Bill's), your (insert Pokemon Here) crawled into the other side, and your were spliced together. When Bill finally arrived, he said it was irreversable, not unless he had the other body. It just happend to fall off a cliff trying to use some move that it used as a Pokemon while in a human body....
Either that, or you could do a Meowth, from Team Rocket. I always thought he was cool.
My beef with it is, what level would you yourself be? Surely you'd like to battle as yourself, but having the experience you'd have, I don't see you being less than level 20. And really, we're not quite there yet.
Any thoughts?
