Greetings.

I am sure you're all wondering what is going on. I'm afraid I can't reveal who I am, or all I know yet. They might, after all, find me, and stop me. At the moment, all I can reveal is that something is horribly wrong. Moreso than before.

It will be up to you to put the pieces together. I'll drop in when I can to point you in the right direction. But I have to be careful. They're watching.

I think you'll find that there are more important things in this world than shiny baubles you can pin on a jacket.

The quest that Rezvei and his friends are going on is but a small part of the constant tug-of-war that occurs involving the balance of the planet. Think of the Earth as a large, complex organism. In order to remain functional, a certain balance must be maintained. A little change in the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere, and suddenly everyone begins getting a little loopy. A hair too much Carbon Monoxide, and suddenly, it's binding to the blood cells of every living organism in place of Oxygen. A few degrees too warm and entire species begin to die out.

There are different forces maintaining this balance, chemical, biological...arcane, perhaps? What do you suppose would happen if someone or something decided to try to tamper with this balance?

While you won't be going on a standard badge quest, you will have the opportunity to travel to many places, exotic and wondrous. And who's to say whether this is the only world you'll see?
