Good day to all, and welcome to the DOUCHE OF THE WEEK!!! I am your host, ROCK810. I will be guiding you through this colorful reward to be given out to ONE special person each week. So, without further ado, THE DOUCHE OF THE WEEK IS: VINCE McMAHON and his CREATIVE STAFF (Todd Pritchard, David Lagana and others) Now granted I did not even watch Backlash or think of watching it. (I have not bought a WWE PPV since ECW One Night Stand last year). The product is just so horrible and recycled and not worth a pigs fart. Well the man who is the best at what he does in the wrestling business really just failed in an attempt to make the WWE anywhere near entertaining. Well last night after the MEDIOCRE Tag Title match Vince McMahon made ECW champion Bobby Lashley JOB to the boss. All salute (middle finger that is) the NEW ECW CHAMPION Vince McMahon. Wait….this is ECW…well maybe it is not as it is WWECW and the product is just plain shabby. I think the Creative staff in Todd Pritchard is so jealous of what Heyman was capable of that they are just ruining the product. Sorry Vince, I usually think you are a great man, but you dropped the ball this time. ECW is a product you could use to completely destroy TNA. Make it a 2 hour show, move it to Thursdays and at a 9pm time slot. This would actually push TNA to do an entertaining show and I might watch ECW when CM PUNK or Rob Van Dam are not wrestling. What needs to happen is Ring of Honor needs to get syndicated and take on Paul Heyman for creative control and teach WWE and TNA what an actual show is supposed to be like. At the current point with Wrestling I have only certain people I like to watch. I hope AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe never go to WWE as they are just going to be treated like dirt because Creative does not know how to use anyone unless they are lumbering Hulk Hogan look alikes. If you have nominations for next weeks DOUCHE of the week please post here. Don't forget to give your reasons. Anyone can be douche of the week, EVEN ME....hmmm...maybe, just maybe...

Best entry so far. I agree with the majority of what you said. The only thing I gotta disagree with is I feel that TNA already puts on an entertaining show. Granted, I know it's not perfect, but I think it it's better than what we have been seeing recently. The second I found out that Vince won, I have effectively disowned the WWE. I will not watch one moment of the programming, I won't visit their website, and I won't buy any more merchandice until Vince retires or dies. Also, I love Ring of Honor. I just started buying their DVD's in September, and I already have 18 of them. I really hope that they can start doing Pay-Per-Views sometime in the near future. They seriously have the best roster out of all of the promotions right now.

I TiVo ECW and WWE.
I'm able to watch both shows (3 hours worth) in about 10-20 minutes.
The only time I watch in real time/regular speed instead of fast forward speed with my TiVo is if Ric Flair, RVD, Sandman, Chris Benoit, The Rock, Stone Cold, or Generation X are wrasslin' or doing an interview.
Otherwise, wrestling is dead to me. I'm still hoping Ric brings back a new generaion of 4 Horsemen. Crap In A Hat! I miss the 4H.
Last week I bought the 4 Horsemen Tribute DVD and watched it. WOW! It was well worth the money!!
If you ever watch it you'll realize fast how great Vince is when you compare him to what Bischoff did to the WCW.

If you ever watch it you'll realize fast how great Vince is when you compare him to what Bischoff did to the WCW. Don't get me wrong, I think Vince is awesome and without him we would not have that which is Wrestling Entertainment today. Things like ROH and the X-Division would not exist without it. HOWEVER, I think the current creative and booking staff is the worse we have ever had. Lagana and Pritchard are so locked in the old ways right now we just have a cookie cutter of what is going on in the back. Things that need to happen for WWE to make it entertaining: Cena needs to drop the belt to Edge or somone similar. We need a good heel to carry the title for awhile. Unify the Tag Belts and make the tag division a little stonger. Right now two belts are pointless and the tag division in both shows has a MINOR amount of entertainment. Umaga has to KEEP the Intercontinental Belt and become more of a monster, if he is going to become such a strong heel he needs a better position then McMahon flunky (bad booking honestly) The Cruiserweight division needs a push. The Cruiserweight could give the X-Division a run if they wanted. AJ Styles contract runs up in June and Christopher Daniels is up in October. GET THEM BOTH. Time for some high flying action with a little action. ECW-Drop it or make it better. Currently ECW suffers from bad booking and even worse talent at times. (Why have RVD if you are just going to job him to people who could not make Smackdown). In all honesty I think Vince should secretly fund something like ROH to see what would happen. Currently WWE has NO competition and the product is a stagnant cancer that is not worth watching.

Vince has always been the rob Peter to pay Paul type of person. If he invisibly created a company to compete with his, I contend he would cannibalize everything of worth within two weeks to shove onto his flagship show.

Again, I agree. The tag division has been pretty stagnant recently. I mean, they're pushing Cade and Murdoch as the top heel team. WTF? I can't agree with that. They need to drop Umaga now. Please God no. If AJ and Daniels go to WWE then they end up like Jimmy Yang and Gregory Helms. Vince hates cruiserweights, and demands that they don't fly. AJ and Daniels would be committing career suicide if they go to WWE. At this point, they should try to pretend that the new ECW never happened. They need to cut their loses and move on. If Vince funded another promotion, then it would have to be ran his way. Meaning that ROH would end up being sport entertainment rather than professional wrestling. Gone would be the great technical wreslting, realistic characters, and true to life storylines. In their place would be horrible, five minute squash matches, gimmack based on monsters and pirates, and over the top storylines about wrestlers have sex with dead people, women giving birth to hands, and a grown man pulling objects out of another grown mans ass.

Vincent Kennedy MacMahon needs to give full creative control to Ric Flair and Double 'A' Arn Anderson. They know how the show should be run and would do great things for WWE/ECW.

I 100% agree that Arn should get some creative control, but I think he is just a booking agent right now. I know Dean Malenko and Sean Morley have a small part in creative control. It seems there are so many booking agents in the back it is hard to tell who is really in charge of writing the matches. (I think they actually hired a writer who wrote for LOST recently and was quoted as saying he knew nothing about wrestling).

Let someone else possibly run his business better than him? Not going to happen, until he dies. Even then he may make a deal with the Devil to, like, possess Stephanie's body or something.

It's nice to see that you regard Vince McMahon as a French Shower.
