Anyone remember this bullshit?
You wander around as ET, all the while your life going down like that dipshit elf from Gauntlet, collecting Reece's and parts of your phone so you can (...drumroll......) "phone home."
Also, you have to evade the craptastic FBI agent who is bound and determined to put you in jail. Did I mention he moves faster than you? I guess short stubby legs are no match for regular human ones. Also, "jail" just means you sit there and watch your life timer count down until Elliot can bust you out. Great.....my only hope of breaking free from a Federal Prison is an 11 year old kid.
As you collect your junk, you periodically fall into holes......Which is cool, because it's the only way to find some of your phone parts. But you can only escape the holes by tapping your (one) button like a madman desperately in need of crack until ET's neck shoots up like an old man's boy parts playing grab-ass with the hot nurse giving him a spongebath (Hello Viagra!), thereby levitating you out of the hole. Interesting point here: You have to stop tapping at one point which apparently is randomly determined by the Atari, or else you fall back in to the hole. Rinse, repeat.
The whole time you get ET closer to death, because that life-timer keeps on ticking!
