I'd prefer to actually have a choice rather than being coerced into buying a console as its the only one on the market.

Remember Wii comes out.
So youll have a choice between a good console, or a shit one.
And when PS3 eventually comes out youll have a choice between a good console and 2 shit ones...so should be equally as easy.

How do we know which is the best? I prefer being a fan of all three..( but mainly sony and nintendo)
And actually analysing which i want.
( though i eventually got all three main consoles last generartion)

I dont underatnd the reasoning behind the hatred of PS3. Im sure its some "oh this was delayed" or "too expensive" or "The head of sony is a dick".
Most of the games I have on Cube, i could get on PS2, except SSBM. I like final fantasy, and the Wii is just looking too cutesy for me. Like, this may sound offensive and stupid, but it just feels like they're simplifying everything so everyone can play (they recently started the craze of expanding too a girly market with pink consoles, and PSP and PS2 followed suit), but holding that thing and waving it around would just feel silly IMO.
Im glad they're innovating, and I love the DS, but I'm assuming that i'll like the PS3 more.
Though I might be wrong.
However, I'm not gonna spend 300 pounds on a games console, then pay 50 pounds for each game.
