Greatest SW game ever, period, contest over.
So yesterday my friend and I spent about four hours trying to finish a Galactic Conquest in BFII on Elite mode. We had it down to just Pollis Massa and Hoth. We were playing the Empire.
WE COULD NOT TAKE POLLIS MASSA.
I swear, it was a slaughterfest. I watched rivers of Stormtroopers run down a hallway, only to be blown back out three seconds later.
We finally conquered it by taking a transport from the first command post across the asteroid to the farthest Rebel post. Once we had that secured, it was easy sailing.
Anyone else have a good strategy for that map?
Also: We had a weird thing while we were playing space battles. EVERY SINGLE TIME we landed our shuttle craft in the enemy hangar, it would take off and crash into the wall the moment that we jumped out. I just stood there watching the idiots take off and fly right into the hangar wall. Boom.
