Darth Vader vs Doctor Doom

I agree. You don't really get the element of surprise on Doctor Doom. He won't let you. He has some extremely high tech armor, and some serious blasts and magic (and don't forget personal forcefields). I think Vader would give him a fight, but Doom would come out in the end thanks to his magic and his smarts.


By the way, I don't think Doom is a match for the whole Fantastic Four. With his minions, he is easily a match for the whole Fantastic Four, though. They have beaten him several times, even though many times it was just because they were the good guys. Super Skrull, however, is a match for the whole Fantastic Four because he has all of their powers augmented, hypnotism, and shapechange abilities.

Doom. Hands down. Not only because Doom can think for himself, and doesn't need a leader to create an army, but Doom is known for his amazing magic skills. He's right behind Dr. Strange in the Marvel universe in his magical abilities. He even fights Mephisto for the soul of his mother every few years. Yeah...could Darth Vader take on Mephisto? LIKE HELL! Not only that, but Doom is one of the brightest men on the Earth! He wouldnt let be some pussy that let a dream change his future. He's a genius! He can also create portals, force feilds, oh, and he has the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak. Yeah...what's Vader got? Some invisible string that pulls stuff around and a lightsaber. Oh...not to mention his magically forged self-supporting armor that allows him to store energy, breathe underwater, fly in space, detect heat sources, and gives him enhanced senses. Plus he's got a gun.


So the real question you need to ask yourself is...could Vader hold his ground against the FF? Hell no. Not even in his dreams....
