(hey, everybody put the special abilities of their pokemon in the current pokemon section, that way we can incorporate those into the game.)

Terrance went to a PC in the gym while the others were planning. He picked up the phone and called home.

"HI mom."

"Hey honey, how're things with that cute little Chikorita of yours?"

"Good, hey Mom, I was thinkin, would you trade me one of your pokemon?"

"What? Terrance, I don't have many left-"

"It's a trade mom, you'd get a new one."

"Hmmm...I guess I'd feel young again. Ok, I'll do it. What did you have in mind?"

"You know the one, the pokemon that always liked me. I'll send you a surskit."

"A surskit eh? I can work with that. That grass type the pokemon you want? Ok, here you go. But remeber, it's hard to balance the grass from frost."

"Ok mom, I love you. here you go."

Only certain pokemon get powers and only when they level up.

I did it because there was no attack that they could have got that was easy to represent and the power seemed more fun.

*Everyone was milling around introducing and talking to each other, pokemon let out and several randoms were battling in the background. Some other randoms were searching through the bins that were scattered across the gym looking for left-over goodies*

"Hey! Quit looting!" shouted Surge, interuptting his boxing match with Carroll's Wigglytuff, "Those are part of the gym's defenses, if you muddled them up, Melinda might be able to get in."

*Lani sat against a wall surfing through his Pokedex, he had seen quite a lot of pokemon already and hadn't even been very far. Globalisation had made completing the pokedex much easier because travellors brought rare pokemon from afar and wild pokemon were now more widespread*

*Suddenly, Lani felt a movement in his bag. It was his egg. It was hatching*

Thick Fat- Fire and Ice type attacks deal half damage to Spheal
Water Gun- 2 damage
Powder Snow- 2 damage
Encore- Target opponent has to use the last move it used for the next 3 turns

*Lani helped the newborn out its shell and wiped off all the shitty-bloody stuff*

*Lani looked hurt, and hugged his new Spheal close, unaware of the blood and egg tissue still attached to the round ball of fat.*

"Don't say that! you'll hurt its feelings. Wow! I've never been so happy in my whole life!"

*Everyone else look at each other and say nothing*

"I'm over it." said Axel. "You could have just come round my house and taken one of the family that live in the pond in my garden, but whatever."

*Oh concherto, that feels so cheap. Trading a crap for an amazing. Less cheap than having all 3 starters though*

"Oh yeah, I never told you. While I was out and about in Viridian a few days ago, my nincada egg was rolling about, about to hatch. Unfortunately, it rolled out of my hands, and onto oncoming traffic, getting squished, as it hatched..so I was left with what you see here.." Axel says, as he calls over Shedinja, who was hobnobbing with another Trainers Ninjask.

[Young Pilgrim]

"...so how do we beat the queen bitch? Because i'm getting kind of bored in here."

[No Wow]

"Well we have to bide our time, get all the trainers we can to help and generally train up. i know we can have a Pokemon training scheme for fun!"

[Paj Meen Ah]

"What the hells this?" Asked Axel.

"No thanks. If we swarm her, we'll win. Also, I have a feeling that Articuno could be the one that saves the day." Axel mused.

"Why?" asked ReZ.

"Becuase theres no way an Articuno would sink so low as to lose to a mere Nidoking" he said, matter-of-factly.

I'm over Dixie and her rare pokemon.

I know maybe we could get Grant to come and help us too!

*Without waiting for a reply from anyone Lani randomly rifled through his bag looking for forgotten items from his travels so far*

Oh yeah I forgot to use Rain Dance and the 2 rare candies I got from the Cerulean Gym battle!
