Hmmm, I heard something about some relics in the Cerulean lake. Also I believe the Cerulean cave is somewhere near here...right? I say we stay.

*Lani looked out over the lake. It stretched as far as the eye could see. Several people were bathing nearby in the shallow edge of the water, with a couple of their pokemon swimming about around them.
Lani took off his shoes and socks and began paddling in the clear water.
OWCH!!
Lani had stepped on a Krabby hiding under the sand and it had taken a grip on his foot, Lani fumbles for a pokeball to fight it off*
Go Venonat!!!
