well the thing about cathing it would mean that it would be a regular old chimchar, as opposed to an alternate universe/colour which is why all my pokemon are different colours.

This game is all about color, so don't fret too much about that. Even if you catch an ordinary colored one, with the right items or conditions, it may turn into a color scheme you like better.

well it's actually a tanuki, more of a racoon than a squirrel. they are prominent in japanesse folklore and there testys are used as either drums or chairs for them to sit on.
i'll change it later, i just thought it was an inmprovement over a joke about a comedian none of you have heard of.
