Digimon are infinitly less fun, becuase they arent set in a living, breathing world. Pokemon has always been set in a sortof mainly human world. I hate how Digimon has like 7 dumb kids wandering around, and crazy black gears flying around making stuffed teddy bears evil. I love that! is there a way to give reps in this site? See the nift Exalt/Smite Buttons? That's the rough equivalent of +/- rep. It goes into that "Karma" count. But you only give 1 point, regardless of how high your Karma is. |

Word. Me and Dumas have discussed this before. Basically ;
Digimon TV > Pokemon TV (Actually no comparison)
Pokemon Games > Digimon Games (Although Digimon World DS is very good...Im enjoying it a lot, and just this week (Looks at avvie) they released the sequel in Japan which looks good.
Ive had an awesome idea for a Digimon game...a 3D action adventure, youve got standard attack buttons, Ie Jump, Punch etc and then your special attacks, which either use MP or "Digi-Time" and thats how long you can stay in digivolved form for - or whatever. Anytime you can digivolve (with certain restrictions blah) and would be awesome.

Showise, Digi is so much better then Poke, mostly because I hate everyone on Poke for being such an uncreative, boring douchebage.
Although i've only played one Digi game for PS1, it was largely dull, while the Poke games have infinite entertainment and replay values.
Back on topic: We have a player group! Are we staying here for the RPG or going back to HCRealms for it? I'd recommend the second one.

Oh...and Digimon wise Season 2 is a lot better than season 1 (I bought all 4 seasons off Ebay) Im halfway through season 2 at the moment...Heh season 2 is actually quite funny...makes me (And suprisingly Claire...although she doesnt like Digimon) laugh often.
Cant wait to get to S4, as I havnt seen ANY. Never aired in Europe.

The Pokemon TV series is very formulaic, and every episode basically has the same theme: making friends out of enemies.

We haven't started quite yet, so I think you can still join.
You a member of HCRealms by any chance? If not, go over there, join, and under User CP go to Group Memberships, and request to join the Pokemon Clan. From there we can get you're character started. Over there is where the main Pokequest is gonna be happening, while over here I'm going to be running the side quests.
And don't worry about not knowing how exactly the RPG works. A lot of the people in the RPG (myself included) are new to this RPG. You'll figure it out.
