I've owned both and sold both. I miss my DS.
PSP is a better system, however, I like DS games more. I also hate Sony.
Overall I'd go with DS.
Most PSP owners brag about how great it is but when you listen to them you realize how ironic it is to rag on Nintendo and then hack the PSP to play 15 year old Nintendo games.
