What is this cyber-maul that Smaug speaks of? And what is the "New Republic" erra? Are those even in the movies?

No its EU. After Ep 6 Luke creates a New Jedi order with his own council and develops into the New Republic. The Maul Smaug was talking about was a story where Maul was ressurected and like went to go fight Vader to the death. This was between Ep 3 and ep 4. Tell me who won.

Didn't Boba Fett die by falling into a Sarlac pit? Did he really die, or is he shown after the Return of the Jedi?

Oh and what force powers do you get as Luke?
All characters have a stamina bar, and the Jedi can use the bar to run extremely fast, double/triple/quadruple jump (except for Grievous, he can only jump once... Grievous has NO force powers), or use force powers.
Force powers include: Lightning, Choke, Pull, Push, and Lightsaber Throw. Most jedi get Lightsaber throw and another. Yoda gets Push and Pull and the Emperor gets Lightning and Choke. These are the only 2 that don't get Lightsaber throw.
Luke gets Lightsaber throw and Push. He is pretty darn cool. You can be Pilot Luke and normal Luke, but the only difference is that Pilot Luke can only be accessed on Hoth (which is really fun to jump on top of an AT-AT and just cut away with your Lightsaber).
Each special character gets a time bar (in the form of a lightsaber) which is similar to a health bar. Each time the character gets hit or kills a teammate, time is subtracted from the character. Each time you kill and oponent, time is added to the character. Time gradually goes away from the character if you don't kill an enemy.
Special characters that aren't Jedi (Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia *if that is how you spell it*). They each have 2 primary and 2 secondary attacks. Boba Fett and Jango Fett have Backpacks as well that have their own bar. Boba and Jango both have wrist rockets and flamethrowers, but Boba has an elite rifle blaster, and Jango has a pistol. Jango also has a time bomb, while Boba has a remote bomb.
What it all boils down to is this: Boba Fett kicks ass in that game. |

I just found out how far behind on SW EU stuff I am.
Apparently, half of the original trilogy characters are dead, the Solo kids are practically adults now, and Jacen is a total dick.
Also, the Yuzzan Vong story arc is 19 novels long according to Wikipedia. WTF?
