Banned permanently, no reason given, no expiration. I remember it clearly. For telling frontman his reasoning sucks for chastising me for something the most popular and praised members/mods do -regularly- with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
I complained about something and I was ganged up on and flamebaited and frontman was part of that mob, he couldn't argue with me proper so 'warned' me instead.
He used his mod position to settle an argument he was having with me.
He now lies and says it was temporary and refuses to back that statement up. Something Ro-gan was attacked for a while back. Again, the guy's a shameless hypocrite and a witless tool. Being obnoxious isn't against the rules, it was a petty little man who was losing an argument abusing his power as a form of "last word".

He, himself was obnoxious and he had the nerve to call me out on it. Others were obnoxious more so than I. I had that worthless prick JacinB use his cute little "checkers" joke on me and nothing. Frontman apparently has an issue with obnoxious behavior (and applying WP's) when he personally doesn't agree. Otherwise he's backing it up with his own.
I would really love to see a list of all the folks actually given WP's for this flimsy reason. Frontman gave me WP's based on a personal opinion of me.

The only rule I truly broke was bruising a mod's ego.

Which wouldn't be so bad, if there wasn't a thread on HCR* with the moderators basically saying/justifying that they can say whatever they want to people. They are above reproach. They may break any of their own rules at any time if they believe that is their only option. Pray these folks never attempt customer service.

I hate mods who can't practice what they preach and as for kiss-asses. It certainly helps when members kiss the mods asses. You can get away with being as obnoxious as you like as long as you donate and kiss up to mods. That's all it takes. Some hollow praise and a donor banner under your avatar. Apparently, this rule is situational.
Whether it be openly praising the company, turning a blind eye to mobbing or justifying stupid decisions on the company's part and letting the members tear me apart.
The judges sure as hell get their shit bronzed instead of banned.

If my ban was a three day, fine, I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't care. If I wasn't singled out, I would've let it go. If I didn't see the worst offenders to the very reason I was "kicked" maintain their accounts with little to no change, I'd be content. I can take a punishment when I deserve it. But when people were allowed to walk all over me with a mod joining in solely because he feels the need to defend a company devoted to taking his money like it's his personal friends on the line, that really pisses me off.

Bottom line, HCRealms enforces an elitist and clique minded attitude. It allows trolling by applying a limp wristed moderation approach to key members (see also Diamond Donors). I got into an argument with frontman, he called me obnoxious, I called his double standard sucky, instantly I was banned, no expiration, no reason. Frontman will ALWAYS have an excuse for himself. He can continue an argument as long as he wants and everyone else is the problem.
When confronted with valid points, he dismisses them behind snarky sarcasm and ignorance. He can't even be bothered.

Where was Frontman with his anti-obnoxious crusade? Oh that's right, he was too busy BEING obnoxious to notice. Notice all the behaviour and taunting and obnoxiousness ignored by the mods. Notice all the kiss ass donors. The mods don't just ignore it, they side with it. StormX and Entertainer13 may be THE biggest idiot suck ups I've ever seen.

I would LOVE to see every 'mod only thread' published on that forum just to see how many loyal members would still be there at the end of the day. I'm willing to bet a huge chunk would be gone in seconds after seeing the kind of insulting bullshit they post.

To be fair, everything is better than daytime tv. I mean it, everything. I turned on Maury Povich recently for a few minutes and I swear to God, the last time I had that show on, it was 2004. FYI, theres no thread entitled such in the moderator forum. There are however, "I banned so-and-so" threads. Its called communication people. Its letting people who banned and why.

Mods don't sit back and revel in members being retarded and getting themselves banned. As far as I know, we were only repped for one of threads as a joke started by AZS to call attention to said thread.

Yes, you are absolutely right. There are never additonal features or upgrades to anything for paying additional. AZS created this concept, after being annoyed that he paid more for his McDonalds to have the larger fries and soda, only to see the same handed to a non-paying customer. He wanted those who donate to be treated better than those who don't pay, because they stink.

Oh wait, that didn't happen.

Just because HCRealms has a forum for donating members isn't meant as an insult to non-paying members. Its a perk. No more, no less. If you want said perks, pay for said perks.

You can have a DVD player put in your mini-van, but it costs you additional. The politic forum is the DVD player to HCRealms mini-van.
