Are those real questions?

Is there are reason they wouldn't be?

Doesn't a question have to be a full sentence?

As long as something is making a query to the nature of some information, doesn't it count as a question?

But isn't a question a form of a sentence? So, in order for a statement to be a question, it should have to be a full sentence, doesn't it?

So, by that reasoning, saying "What?" in a manner of seeking clarification would not be a question, n'est ces pas?

Post by Charaxes on Jul 11, 2007 15:35:32 GMT -5
Wouldn't that just be defined as an inquiry?

Aren't "inquiry" and "question" synonymous?

Why are we still arguing over semantics ?

Post by JKL on Jul 11, 2007 21:50:09 GMT -5
What else would we argue about?

What indeed?

Shouldn't arguing about something of relevence? Maybe something including Chuck Norris?

What about Chuck Norris is relevant? It's not like if I said "I hate chuck norris" he would come through the window and...
*Shatter*
AAWK!
*Dies*

Why would ever tempt fate like that?

Why not?

Wouldn't the possibility of been roundhoused by Chuck Norris a good enough reason?
