I realized that I haven't gone three days in a row without drinkin' for almost a month now...
I woke up with my liver sitting next to me. It looked in the eye, and said, You really are an asshole!" I didn't know my liver could talk...

Alcohol is one of the leading causes of death in the USA these days. It is legal for adults of the age of people 21+ to consume. Marijuana, on the other hand, doesn't even come close to causing the astronomical amount of deaths alcohol causes. It also does not kill brain cells, as alcohol does. Marijuana is illegal by all means, though in some states it has been decriminalized. Go figure. Don't even get me started on cigarettes either...irony, sweet irony. Yeah smoking never kills anyone. Smoking ciggarettes is the number 1 or 2 leading cause of death in the US (alcohol being the other). Also, Marijuana is a schedule 1 drug. Cocaine is a shedule 1 drug. That is the classification for the most dangerous drugs in the country. LSD is schedule 2 or 3, meaning that it is less dangerous than Marijuana, or so the logic would make it seem. But it isn't. And yet...

Here's a fun fact: If you live in the US, and you've smoked marijuana, chances are, it's a product of Kentucky. California: The largest producer of weed in the US Kentucky: The second largest, the only exporter.
On another note, marijuana is that high on the list because it is everywhere and so easy to get. Not to mention, when a person is on lysergic acid, it's they're generally sitting in his or her room tripping out. Marijuana users are more likely to do things, like, get behind the wheel of a car while intoxicated. Individually, no, it's not as dangerous, it has many of the same effects, considering both are hallucinagens, but one is much more powerful. The difference is, how many people that you know are chemists enough to find/make the stuff, and who in the world can afford it? Weed is everywhere and has a larger effect on people in general by and large. LSD can, in the long run, cause flashbacks, even after one use. Imagine, in 10 years, you have a white collar/suit and tie job, you're riding the elevator, then BAM, your brain has a flashback to the acid trip you had 10 years ago. This does happen. Marijuana has recently been shown to decrease virility, damage memory and cause weight gain (that last one is a joke).

And Marijuana is also more dangerous or just as dangerous as Heroine, Cocaine, Crack, and PCP...
