Item 1: On Rule 3, we don't care about sexual preference. Gay, straight, bi, or otherwise, it's all good here. If you have problems with people based upon their preferences, either get out, or leave those prejudices outside this website.
Item 2: Using the term "gay" as an insult is roughly analagous to using the word "black" as an insult. Think about it.
